Yatsugadake Club Restaurant

Yatsugatake Club is known for its owner 柳生 (Mr Yagyu) who is a famous actor and now in his 80s. He built this restaurant/cafe 20 years ago and has been gaining reputation ever since. The cafe offers famous fruit tea with plenty of fresh fruit (¥1,650 for 1-2 people, ¥2450 for 3-4 people). The restaurant also features an outside walking path through the forest that the owner built himself with wood planks.

This shop is famous for being managed by Hiroshi Yagyu. The cafe menu also has originality, and the gardening shop also has unique and tasteful items such as group plants and air plants. However, are the prices slightly higher for both? Mr. Yagyu may be walking in the shop, so if you can talk to me, please accept me.

A relaxing place run by actor Hiroshi Yagyu. This year is the 30th anniversary.I had a late lunch and fruit tea at the restaurant today.I met Yagyu himself. I was a very friendly person and I was happy to take photos. I was very happy ❣️

Unique & beautiful fruit tea; boutique shopping & art works in divine setting.

The whole vibe of the cafe was very cosy. Staff was really nice and welcoming. We had fresh fruit tea which was worth a try. It was keeping us warm and at the same time the freshness of fruits refreshed us. As almost everything in the menu was sold out we just had cheese sandwich which were nice. Hope to visit again and try the other dishes in the menu.

It is a good atmosphere restaurant for lunch with your friends.Cooking, but only curry (2 types) and beef stew! I wonder if you can give me a little! ! I ordered a beef stew, but the taste is also normal. Cospa is also not good! Do you not want to go again! !

A cosy and atmospheric cafe nestled amongst the trees that you will be sure to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and served us delicious fruit tea with chiffon cake (highly recommended)! Birdwatchers will love the many species flocking to the window of the cafe (such as the Yamagara). It's also likely that you might run into the owner of the cafe (Hiroshi Yagyu), who happens to be the president of the Wild Bird Society of Japan and is the Japanese equivalent of David Attenborough. He will gladly discuss wildlife with you and make you feel very welcome! All in all, it's a wonderful place to relax and wind down. Five stars!

This is the store where the child of Hiroshi Yagyu, the actor, is run.It will be healed in a very nice time in the forest.There are also fashionable tableware, accessories and nice miscellaneous goods inside the shop.I had tea in the rain of hate, but it was very healed.

Famous cafeteria inside beautiful woods in Yatsugatake Mt. Owned by friendly famous actor Hiroshi Yagyu. You can enjoy lunch and dessert there (bit pricy) with dogs on terrace, enjoy short walk on footpath in the woods. Very homy, relaxing and natural place.

The fall foliage was beautiful and Mt. Fuji was snowing beautifully. The terrace seats are a bit chilly, but it's also nice to relax with a blanket. I think it is the best way to take a walk in the forest, enjoy fruit tea, and enjoy an adult holiday.

Visit with my wife on a Yatsugatake drive.It seems to be a famous store, but a luxury store in Karuizawa? I wasn't particularly impressed with the atmosphere.From the side of the shop, there is a well-maintained forest-like walkway that leads to other shops.There will be no revisit. (Impression that many things are too expensive and there are many select shops without much Yatsugatake feeling) Food and drink are expensive.
